What to Expect
REAL. We are REAL people, with REAL problems, living out our REAL faith in every day life. We have struggles, victories, teaching moments, learning moments. We come together to build one another up, to confess to one another and to encourage one another. But most importantly we come together to proclaim HIM (Jesus) in each one of our lives through songs, scripture and gifts. Showing everyone His love, power, grace, kindness, etc. as we try to live out His commands daily..
OUR COMMUNITY
Helena, Pelham, Alabaster, Montevallo, Calera, Columbiana; well Shelby County. This is where we live out our faith. Going to work, playing at the park, shopping at the grocery store. This is the area we want to impact.

Ready to be REAL
Your Story
The first step of REAL means coming to understand who you are with or without Christ. We think of our lives as a story being told. We all have the same base story - we are born, grow up and try to make it through each day, week or year. There is another part of our story that is true for everyone, that is we all are broken by our own sinfulness. Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Each story is unique in ways we are broken and how we see our ourselves in that light. But every story comes down to that basic fact that we are separated from God. Separated from the One who created us, who knows us and who loves us.​

Thankfully that isn't the end of the story! God sent His Son Jesus to die for us. He loves us. He wants a relationship with us.
​
According to Romans 10:9, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
​
However, being REAL doesn't end there, that is just the beginning of who you are, a new creation and a new story.
